About this site

My name is Jorge Piñon and this site is the online portfolio and general playground of my freelance side. I’m currently employed full-time but still find time to work on client projects.

I’m a Creative Director, print and web designer. I love web usability and clear communication. I work on the occasional print project when I need to make something tactile and the occasional pro bono project when I just can’t refuse.

“But there’s nothing here!” I hear you say.

Yeah, I know what you mean. There are many great web design blogs out there, full of stuff to read for hours and hours. This isn’t one of them. I’m not a blogger. I sometimes put some sentences together, call it something and put it up, but when I last updated this site, I decided to start fresh. 

I do intend to write soon and have a few ideas in the works, but for now there’s the portfolio of work samples and the contact form if you’ve got something to say.

Miscellany

If you’re using IE6, you’re seeing ugly dashed lines all over this site. IE6 doesn’t do dotted, being so old and all. Please consider upgrading to a standards compliant browser. They’re free.
